A Meaningful Visit to the Crimean Tatar National Assembly

During our visit to Kyiv, Ukraine in September 2024, we had the opportunity to visit the Crimean Tatar National Assembly, the voice of the Crimean Tatar people.

This visit was not merely an official contact; it was extremely meaningful for us in terms of witnessing firsthand the honorable and determined struggle that our Crimean compatriots have been waging for years. The accounts, shared memories, and the reality on the ground reminded us once again that the Crimean issue is not just a historical event, but a living human story.

During the visit, we also met with Mustafa Abdulcemil Kirimoglu, a symbolic figure of the Crimean Tatar people and a living memory of the human rights struggle. Listening to his testimony about a difficult struggle stretching from the past to the present, and witnessing this resistance firsthand, was of great value to us.

As ONCU Global, we believe that standing alongside every peaceful struggle that keeps historical memory alive and is based on justice and human dignity is a universal responsibility.
